Position Title: Golf Course Superintendent

Salary: $68,120 - $81,328 annually

JOB SUMMARY:  The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and management of the golf course, including pro shop, tournaments, events, leagues, grounds, facilities, and equipment. This role ensures that the golf course meets high-quality standards and provides an exceptional playing experience for members and guests. This position supervises staff, manages budgets, and implements strategies to maintain and enhance the course’s condition year-round. This position is full time year-round.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, Horticulture, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in golf course maintenance or management.

Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Certification.

Pesticide Applicator License or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.

Strong knowledge of turfgrass science, irrigation systems, and course equipment.

Proficiency in pest and disease management practices.

Experience with budget preparation, financial management, and retail operations

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Customer service and sales management skills with a focus on enhancing player experience.

Ability to build partnerships with community organizations and effectively lead volunteers.
