Economic Development Authority

The Economic Development Authority’s primary purpose is to promote the growth our community.  The EDA partners with Community Development of Morrison County and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) in funding options, as well as has its own revolving loan funding source available. The Economic Development Authority has lands available with water and sewer services available near US Highway 10/State Highway 371 and also has rail access.

Applicants are also highly recommended to apply for the Federal Small Business Association (SBA) and State Small Business Emergency Loans through MN Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). State loan applications must be made through certified lenders and there are three lenders serving Morrison County: Entrepreneur Fund, Initiative Foundation, and North Central Economic Development Association (NCEDA)
