| Snow Removal Policy Chapter 7, Section 7.04 of the City Code states in part that “All snow and ice remaining upon public sidewalks is hereby declared to constitute a public nuisance and shall be abated by the owner or tenant of the abutting private property within twenty-four hours after such snow or ice has ceased to be deposited”. Failure by the property owner to remove snow and ice from their sidewalk as stated above will cause the City or its agent to remove the snow/ice from the property and invoice the property owner the cost of removal plus administration and overhead.
