Chapter 7, Section 7.06 of the City Code states in part “It is the primary responsibility of the owner of property upon which there is abutting any sidewalk to keep and maintain such sidewalk in safe and serviceable condition”.
Failure by the property owner to repair and maintain their sidewalks will cause the City or its agent to repair the sidewalk and invoice the property owner the cost of repair plus administration and overhead.
