Morrison County Birding
Morrison County Birding was formed as a base site for posting information about and for finding birds that are in and around the Morrison County area. Also, we have formed a club that features outings (throughout the State of Minnesota), share information, and present speakers with a focus on birds and birding. Morrison County has ideal birding areas such as Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, Schoessling Addition, Lindbergh State Park, Belle Prairie Park, and Camp Ripley, which has a Nature Center that features a variety of wildlife exhibits. Morrison County has a great mixture of habitat that draws in a vast amount of migratory and nesting birds and has many wildlife management areas that are open to the public. Click on this site to post findings, look for areas and species, and find maps. I hope we are helpful and may your time in Morrison County be rewarding.
