The City of Little Falls regulates unlawful noise through City Code, Chapter 10 Section 10.25. The Code states in part “It shall be unlawful for any person to make loud, unnecessary or unusual noise which either annoys, disturbs, or affects the comfort, repose, health or peace of others”. The code addresses such common problems as loud music, vehicles, loudspeakers, yelling, animals, parties, construction, etc. Loud party noise in residential areas is prohibited after 10:00 p.m. Construction noise is prohibited after 9:00 p.m. The City uses common sense when enforcing noise regulations and recognizes that residents have a right to enjoy their homes and neighborhoods without unnecessary noise.
