| Tourism Little Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau The Little Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is an economic and community development organization whose purpose is to expand the city's economy by attracting conventions, meeting, groups and tourist visitors. The CVB is responsible for marketing Little Falls and the surrounding area as a desirable destination for meetings, conventions and tourism activities. Millions of dollars from visitor spending and increased tax revenues can be generated to increase commerce, sustain jobs, and enhance a city’s image. The CVB is an independent not-for-profit organization. The CVB is funded primarily through a tax levied on Little Falls lodging and eating establishment’s. The CVB works to provide information services through brochures, guides, maps, internet, 1-800#, advertising, electronic marketing, and group & meeting planning. Established in 1990 and reorganized in 1999, to increase tourism and convention business into the Little Falls and Morrison County area. Nine member volunteer board of directors: 2 lodging representatives, 2 restaurant representatives, 2 attractions representatives, 2 citizens at large and 1 member representing Camp Ripley. The CVB has 2 full time employees who serve as the city's liaison between visitors and the businesses that will host them. The CVB acts as an information center, group and meeting planner, and tourism promotion organization for our area, as well as a catalyst for economic development growth.
